Iron Man

We didn’t think we would be bouldering in bishop due to our late season arrival. However, Monsieur el niƱo was on our side and I had time to dispatch a couple of climbs that I had previously tried in bishop. The race was on to climb before the rattlesnakes awoke, but thankfully colder temperatures and unexpected snowfall prior to our arrival had the boulders at our fingertips.

Arriving at the ironman I was greated by a Japanese crew equipped with the finest array of organic crashpads. This was a sign, I would send. And I did!

Feeling good about having clearly progressed since my last Bishop visit, I jumped on a few classic problems at the Happy Boulders. Ellen had some fun on a technical, reachy, vertical face and marvelled at the volcanic tableland while I sent my other project The Clapper.

We’ve moved on to yosemite to climb on midnight lightning and any problems with a crack, even offwidths (cedar eater).

Hi E and R, Where are you? What are you doing? You haven’t posted for a week. Are you losing your addiction to things electronic? Hope all is well. Love, Aunt Vic
